You really don’t see this every day! Comes out Up for auction this spectacular Lancia Delta Futurista by Automobili Amos, one of the 20 manufactured units of this ‘restomod’ made on the basis of the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale. A modern and detailed reinterpretation of what is undoubtedly one of the great icons of the automobile world at the end of the last century.
It could be said, to simplify as much as possible, that Automobili Amos’ Lancia Delta Futurista is something like an Italian version of the incredible creations of Singer from the 911. Because the level of work done is truly sublimewith a myriad of redesigned, upgraded and handcrafted components with finishes that are literally impossible to find on conventional mass production cars.
For example, the aluminum body – with three doors instead of five – has been handcrafted. And thanks to the use of this material and carbon fiber to shape the hood and front, the body in white is about 90 kg lighter than the original. That is precisely one of the objectives pursued by its creator, Eugene Amosto improve each and every one of the components of the original Delta.

This copy of the Lancia Delta Futurista is number 4 of the 20 units built. Delivered and finished in 2020 to its first and only owner to date, it has traveled barely 2,500 kilometers since then. It features a bodywork painted in ‘Bianco St. Moritz’ colour, with exposed carbon fiber front and diffuser and 18” Evo Corse alloy wheels finished to match the exterior.

Also not to be missed are the new headlights with LED technology or the trim, grills and logos redesigned for the occasion. The cabin is a mix of red and black Alcantara, carbon fiber and anodized aluminum. It has some seats signed by Recarosports pedals and, as we have already mentioned, only two access doors with a trunk inspired by the Lancia Delta S4.
On a mechanical level, they have optimized the cooling, intake and intercooler systems. In addition, they have readjusted the electronic control unit, improved the four-wheel drive system and reinforced the five-speed manual gearbox. Now its 2.0 turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine produces around 330bhp of power in a car that weighs around 1,250kg.
It also features a redesigned front suspension with the aim of reducing understeer or high-performance brakes with fixed calipers and perforated and ventilated discs. Finally, remember that the Delta Futurista is produced from the original Delta Integrale 16V base, so Automobili Amos restores and/or improves each and every one of the parts of the donor car.
A rare opportunity to acquire the ultimate Delta
According to Collecting Cars, the auction house that is handling the sale, this unit is immaculate except for a few small details. They indicate that there is a minor paint flaw on one of the hood edges and that the passenger’s odometer and power window are currently not working. The car is currently in the UK but is registered in Qatar.
With three days to go before the auction ends, they have already registered 28 bids for a value (at the time we write this text) of 140,500 pounds sterling, the equivalent of about 167,000 euros in exchange. An amount that will surely increase before the auction closes, especially if we take into account that the 20 Delta Furutista produced were originally sold for figures of around 300,000 euros per copy.
