The special Christmas and New Year’s menus signed by DaV Milano by Da Vittorio

For the holidays, the Cerea family offers two gourmet solutions to celebrate Christmas and the arrival of the new year in their casual dining room DaV Milano by Da Vittorio.

The two most awaited days of the year are approaching and DaV Milan by Da Vittorio, casual dining from Cerea familyopened this year on the first floor of the Allianz Tower and overlooking the futuristic skyline of City Life, opens its doors to those who stay in the city during the holidays and want to have a tasting experience that satisfies all the senses.

With the advice of Chicco and Bobo Cerea, executive chef of the three-starred restaurant From Vittorio to Brusaportothe resident chefs Paolo Pivato and Nicholas Reina have studied two delicious and at the same time refined menus, perfect for customers who want to spend days in the name of conviviality and good food.

Christmas lunch at DaV Milano

It starts with the Christmas lunch on December 25th: starting at 12:30, for those who will sit at the tables of DaV Milanhere is a sumptuous roundup of dishes.

The menu is divided into a first selection of courses in sharing mode, where the table is set with Salmon sphere and citrus burrata with salmon roe, Oyster with mandarin, shallot and chilli dressing, Raw scallop and smoked apple cream, Steamed langoustine with light mayonnaise, “vicciola” beef tartare and hazelnut praline, steamed bao with frayed lamb and 5 peppers sauce, guinea fowl terrine, foie gras and porcini mushrooms, leek quiche, taleggio cheese, yolk coulis and black truffle.
We then move on to the main courses, i.e. the Cannellone with lobster and pink pepper sauce and a great Christmas classic signed by Cerea, i.e. the stuffed turkey served with mashed potatoes.
Unmissable at the end of the meal, the great Kermesse of desserts, a rich slice of Panettone, Nougat, Zabaglione and cantucci.

Gala dinner in anticipation of the new year

With the Christmas food marathon over, it’s already time to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one: DaV Milano dresses as a gran soirée for the Gala dinner and invites everyone to celebrate under the stars of the Milanese sky the arrival of 2023.
Alongside the sharing formula with steamed Bao with shredded lamb and 5 peppers sauce, Salmon sphere and citrus burrata, “vicciola” beef tartare and hazelnut praline and guinea fowl terrine, foie gras and porcini mushrooms, here is the Risotto with black ink with marinated cuttlefish and salted lemon, Ravioli del pin with cream, sage and white truffle and Scampi Wellington. It ends on a high note with the zabaglione tiramisu prepared live and nougat.

New Year’s Eve at high altitude at the Allianz Tower

From 10.30 pm, waiting for the official countdown to midnight, we move to the 47th floor of the Allianz Tower, for a “high-altitude” New Year’s Eve with the city of Milan at our feet. There will be Panettone and a dessert festival.
Arrived on January 1, it is celebrated with the traditional cotechino with lentils, but a plate of Paccheri alla Vittorio cannot be missing and, for pizza enthusiasts, even the Roman shovel with raw and burrata, signed by Alessio Rovetta, master pizza maker already in force at the Da Vittorio restaurant.
To offer competence, professionalism but above all cordiality in the dining room, in true Cerea style, there will be, as always, the General Manager Salvatore Impieri and the Restaurant Manager Stefano Lotti while, at the counter of the American Bar, the bar manager Cosimo Nucera will be able to suggest the right cocktail to seal the moment.
