There is no company in the motor sector that has not already advanced what its fully electric cars will be like or that has not, at least, presented a concept of its most futuristic vision of these models. It seems that 2030 is the year in which most companies in the motoring sector intend to have a whole range of sustainable vehicles, a year in which, in addition, many of them will definitively abandon models with combustion engines. In recent weeks three designs have caught the attention of all lovers of speed and supercars, the Mercedes Vision AMG Concept, the Buick Wildcast EV Concept and the Lexus Electrified Sport. This is what is known, for the moment, of these three prototypes.
Mercedes Vision AMG Concept
Mercedes has already taken the step to an electric future showing two first models, the EQS and the EQE, two sports versions of the brand’s two new electric luxury sedans, but the company does not stop there, now it has shared a new concept of what will be a 100% electric supercar. Although they have not shared technical details, they have shown what its exterior would look like, a high-performance futuristic model that leaves no one indifferent. “With this study, we now offer a first glimpse of how we are transferring AMG’s DNA into the all-electric future, starting in 2025,” he says. This design offers a sleek silhouette with a low body, long wheelbase and short overhangs. Its front light clusters stand out, simulating the shape of the star logo and its windows, painted in the same Alubean Silver color as the rest of the bodywork. Small cameras replace the side mirrors. At the rear, which boasts an active spoiler, you can see three brake lights on each side that simulate exhaust outlets. Beneath them is a diffuser painted black. The result is an overall look that reinforces the impression of a monolithic sculpture. Its powertrain will be completely developed from the ground up and will feature the AMG platform. EA and an innovative axial flux motor developed by YASA.
Buick Wildcat EV Concept
For its part, Buick, who announced that its first electric model would arrive in 2024, has unveiled a prototype that marks the DNA of the design of the future models of the firm owned by General Motors. This 2+2 coupé model, which debuts the brand’s new three-shield logo, stands out for its low-mounted trapezoidal grille, its new semi-folding doors, micro-LED lighting with fine-beam projection lenses, 18-inch wheels turbine-shaped spokes and an external load indicator visible on the outer glass of the tailgate, among other things. The interior shows a cabin of pure luxury and comfort in which all the vehicle’s functionalities are controlled through touch screens. In addition, it integrates new futuristic artificial intelligence, biometrics and aromatherapy features to enhance the driving experience.

Lexus Electrified Sport
Although his official debut will take place in the Goodwood Festival of Speed –from June 23 to 26–, it has already been possible to see a preview of the new Lexus Electrified Sporta high-performance electric sports car considered to be the possible successor to the legendary Lexus LFA.

It is a radically styled coupé proposal that will carry the characteristic driving of Lexus –Lexus Driving Signature– at higher levels. From the data offered to date it is known that this design It could accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in two seconds and offer a range of more than 700 kilometers. They have also indicated that it is possible that the production model uses a new solid-state battery technology to achieve true high performance.
This company will extract the full potential of its vehicles through electrification, reinforcing the fundamentals of linear acceleration/deceleration and exhilarating braking and driving sensation to offer an even more exciting driving experience.
