Nestron unveils its Cube Two X, a modular and ultra futuristic house

More and more small houses are springing up in our countryside, and sometimes even in town. There are countless examples of modular houses such as those made with shipping containers, or the villages of tiny houses built in some cities to accommodate people in need. With telework, many people have also opted for small annexes used as an office; all these modular and prefabricated habitats are on the rise. Saving time and money, these houses can also be self-built. In the range of unusual small habitats, let’s discover Nestron’s Cube Two X, a futuristic and intelligent prefab.

What is this Cube Two X?

Nestron is a Singapore-based company specializing in precast, a growing market. Its designers introduce us to Cube Two X (C2X), a truly extraordinary tiny house, halfway between a luxury caravan and a space capsule. With a beautiful surface of 35 m², it is intended to be a little larger than a classic tiny house, and above all more spacious than the first model they released in 2020, the Cube Two, which was only 26 m². This 2022 model is designed for four people and is intended to be smart. It comes in two versions: one with a single bedroom, the other with two sleeping areas.

The technical characteristics of the Cube Two X

By its weight, it cannot be described as a tiny-house, and even less a caravan… Suffice to say that with its 8 tons, once it is in place, it is difficult to change its location. On the other hand, it is just super elegant with its look straight out of a science fiction film. Nestron chose galvanized steel insulated with FRP panels, so that it could withstand the weather or natural disasters. It is therefore prepared for hurricanes, typhoons and earthquakescommon in this region of the world.

The resistance can still be improved according to the wishes of the customers. Regarding the dimensions of the Cube Two X, they are rather minimal compared to its weight: it displays a length of 10 meters for a width of 3.5 meters, and a height of 3.1 meters. On the facade, large windows have been installed to maximize the entry of natural light. The front door is unlike any other, as it is asymmetrical and double-leaf, which can be useful for passing bulky items through. Outside, there is a kind of “engine room”, which allows control the electrical and mechanical elements of the Cube.

Small interior visit

Predictably, the interior is just as futuristic as the exterior, and aesthetics seem to be the automaker’s primary concern. This Cube could therefore only be intelligent and full of home automation! This futuristic house has digital locks, a music player, electric blinds and motion sensor spotlights. There are also additional modules that allow it to be fitted with a solar-powered system, smart toilets or mirrors, or pilot tablets to be installed on the walls… There are also high-tech appliances and a removable screen for Netflix evenings. .

Moreover, the smart systems are compatible with Google Home or Amazon Alexa. Nestron is also developing its AI-based smart home system… Even though the company assures that the Cube Two X is built with recyclable materials, we are still far from the ecological concept of the tiny-house… As for the price, you will still have to pay nearly €100,000 to afford this jewel. It is available for delivery worldwide; if you ever feel like it, go to Nestron’s website !
