François Morel: “All sailors are singers”
François Morel sings the songs of a navigator who disappeared at sea in 1900, at the age of thirty, Yves-Marie Le Guilvinec, an unknown poet from Trivagou, whose works he found in a garage sale. With Gérard Mordillat, they strive to complete his biography, sew up the fishing nets, recompose with Antoine Sahler the music that has disappeared. Together, they take off and rehabilitate a joyful and popular poetry, in a hymn to the intoxication of the salty air, to freedom and excess. The theater becomes a trawler and its sailor singers.

Garorock in Marmande
It was in April 1997 that a punk-rock festival was born in the old Marmandais slaughterhouses. Garorock for a play on words between Garonne and Rock, but also “watch out for rock”. After 15 editions, the festival takes off towards the Filhole plain, a less urban space, more suited to the eco-festival desires of its public. But the underground side is not shelved for all that. And the festival now offers passes with camping. The first names of the 2023 edition are already known: David Guetta, Fred Again, Skrillex, Lomepal, Louise Attaque, Phoenix, Rema, Shaka Ponk, Adé, Tash Sultana, Meryl, Pomme, are among them.
