A new Batmobile? No, it’s the latest hypercar from Rodin Cars.

The world is about to get another hypercar, and this one looks fit for a superhero. Rodin Cars has just announced that its track-exclusive monster, the FZeroproduction will officially begin.

The company isn’t trying to temper expectations for its follow-up to the open-wheel FZed, either. He says his goal is to create the “fastest car on the track, bar none.”

Three years after testing the vehicle for the first time, Rodin feels his “limitless” hypercar is finally ready for its time.

It will be interesting to see how the car turns out, because the company certainly promises a lot.

The performance of the Rodin Cars Fzero

Its hybrid powertrain consists of a “revolutionary” 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-10 assisted by an electric motor. The custom configuration is said to be able to pump out a total of 1,160 horsepower and 757 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to all that growl, the car will be able to reach a top speed of over 224 mph.

The design, similar to the Batmobile

As extravagant as the car’s supposed performance is its design. We’ve previously described cars that resemble the Batmobile, but this is especially true of Rodin Cars’ Fzero.

Its black and gold color scheme, bubble cockpit, giant fenders, and even larger rear spoiler give it the look of something the Caped Crusader could have driven in one of Tim Burton’s two Batman movies.

aerodynamics

Design, as extravagant as it may be, has a purpose. The vehicle was designed to be as aerodynamic as possible and will help produce 8,818 pounds of downforce.

The FZero will also be extremely large. It stretches over 18 feet from bumper to bumper and is 7.2 feet wide.

Despite this, it has a very low profile, with its highest point being just 3.7 feet above the ground. In some ways, it will also be a true lightweight, tipping the scales at just 1,539 pounds.

Even for a track-only beast that features copious amounts of carbon fiber, that’s very light.

“The Rodin FZERO is the physical representation of the ultimate heights in vehicle performance. Without the constraints of building a set of rules, we can make the car lighter, more powerful and produce significantly more downforce,” said Rodin Cars founder, David Dickerit’s a statement.

“The only real restrictions we face are the laws of physics, and we have even pushed them to the absolute limit. We look forward to bringing the most intense driving experience conceivable to tracks around the world.”

to production line

Rodin Cars has said that the first FZero will roll off the line next summer. The price of the vehicle has not been announced, but it is expected to be high, especially since the speed machine will be limited to just 27 examples.

There are also reports that a road version is in the works. We will have to be attentive to see this kind of Batmobile roll through the streets.
