Paco Rabanne in the spotlight
On March 1, as part of Paris fashion week, the Paco Rabanne house presented a show at the Palais de Tokyo orchestrated by its artistic director Julien Dossena. In tribute to the “fashion metallurgist” who died on February 3, six dresses inspired by the archives were shown. Louane was amazed by the avant-garde, sequined, transparent and colorful looks, not to mention the iconic silver Pacoio mini tote bag. A Dalí capsule adorning the dresses of four surrealist paintings (including The Shadows of Falling Night and Solar Table) recalled the friendship between the futurist couturier and the painter, who had been introduced to him by Amanda Lear (house muse since his beginnings). A real success for this collection called Chasing Dreams with a style inviting to escape.
